Violeta Meyners is a Los Angeles-based photographer and makeup artist whose work explores women, beauty, and character. Drawing on a background in acting and nearly two decades in beauty, she brings an instinctive sensitivity to expression, movement, and the presence a person brings to the frame.

Violeta arrived in the United States from Romania in 2002 with less than $500, no family nearby, and no safety net to fall back on. She built her life from the ground up, working four jobs while in school, walking miles when she could not afford a car, and learning early how to create possibility from almost nothing. That chapter of her life shaped more than her resilience; it sharpened her eye for character, reinvention, and the quiet strength people carry with them. Those qualities remain at the heart of her work today, informing the way she photographs women: with sensitivity, instinct, and an enduring interest in who they are beyond the surface
